Simulated Emergency Test (SET) will happen on October 3rd at the UI W7UQ shack.  All interested should show up.  It will be going from 8am to 5pm; participants need not be there the entire time.

SET is an opportunity to learn about what Amateur Radio Emergency Services (ARES) does in the area, get some training and hands on experience "passing traffic", and meet some of your local counties on the air.  ARES Emergency Coordinators (EC) from both Whitman and Latah counties will be on site.

During this exercize, we will be passing a lot of traffic using both voice and digital modes on any bands that will get it through.  If we have enough staffing, we'll try to operate multiple radios simultaneously.
