The WSU Amateur Radio Club will be holding a licensing class on February 21st, 2015 at 10:00 AM in ETRL 101. The class will continue on February 22nd at 10:00 AM, with the exam to follow. We are planning to finish up the class at 5PM at the latest on Saturday. The test will be administered at around 4:00 PM Sunday, and will likely be done around 5 PM.
The class will cover all the topics that are on the Technician exam. That includes basic electronics, operating procedures, RF safety, etc. Lunch will be provided courtesy of the club on both days. There is a $15 fee for taking the test and getting your license.
If you do not have an FCC FRN number and plan on taking the exam, please obtain one by filling out the form linked at the bottom of this post.
