From http://ceacc.wsu.edu/node/93:
Held in the Stephenson Dorm Complex, this event is an opportunity to expose incoming freshmen to your club activities and to encourage them to join your club.
As part of our community service to the college, student clubs are encouraged to strength their funding proposals by attending both evenings (Wednesday and Thursday).
----
Simulated Emergency Test (SET) will happen on October 3rd at the UI W7UQ shack. All interested should show up. It will be going from 8am to 5pm; participants need not be there the entire time.
SET is an opportunity to learn about what Amateur Radio Emergency Services (ARES) does in the area, get some training and hands on experience "passing traffic", and meet some of your local counties on the air. ARES Emergency Coordinators (EC) from both Whitman and Latah counties will be on site.
Come check us out at the student involvement fair! We'll at least have VHF/UHF demos going, and possibly some other cool stuff. The fair will run 11:30am to 1:30pm on the Glenn Terrel Mall (in front of Holland Library and CUB) on WSU campus.
Hi all!
Just a quick note to let everyone know that I've updated the local repeaters page. Check it out, and if you have something to add, drop an e-mail to w7yh@wsu.edu.
